Can you see the seagulls?

Maybe just about. Perched on the edge of the weir. In charge of their surroundings, you might observe.

Sunny but cold

Few people down by the Dee today. More seagulls than people perhaps. Work heavy going this morning. Let's hope the afternoon improves my mood.

Post-prandial Chester Rows

I'm sitting outside Beau Perry, wanting a twenty-minute nap. Lovely afternoon. If only life could be more like this.

Warm warm day. Like beautiful summers in Spain. People amiable and sitting on pavement terraces. Good weather makes for happy people.

Dog and Duck Cheshire

Canal life is a most romantic idea - and, what's more, most practical. The narrowboat I find myself on even has radiators. One day, I would love to have a narrowboat.

Another glorious boat

On the way back

We've had a lovely day out on a narrowboat. Good food. Fine conversation. Sunshine too. Great break from politics.
